Well have finally uploaded an ‘rc’ version of ArchBang and have made many changes. Most no one will noticed but I will run through a few things that may be of interest. Openbox: Theme changes to look and colours to AB_Green inactive windows now show window control icons. Main menu now has ArchBang title. I really thought that switching ArchBang to i3 was a good idea, but I was very wrong. Switched to a i3 tiling window manager years ago and it was a learning curve but day by day things just made more sense, workflow got faster and easier. So why not change ArchBang to run it? Have noticed a small issue in last iso. Super + 1 [switch to workspace one] throws up an error. Easy fix just a typo in i3 config. Just rebuilt and am uploading a new image. Also as a Birthday treat, did I mention mine is tomorrow 😉 iso now ships with window title in i3blocks … Well I spoke too soon…
Have just updated iso image, no major changes. Noticed that copytoram feature live now uses pv to give some output, which is nice rather than system doing nothing while it loads into ram. It will be my Birthday this Sunday so I will mostly eating cake and drinking. So do not plan on doing any … Am now a year older….
