Just uploaded a new iso image, package updates and latest kernel. Also added a script to show current desktop. For some reason tint2 would not switch and show current desktop, script uses xdotool to figure out what desktop you are on. Problem I had was it worked fine with numbered desktops but of course names did not work. Long story short script creates an array of desktops and then using xdotool selects one matching from array.
Should work if you add more desktops but you will of course need to update binds in rc.xml to suit.
Downloads are once again hitting around a thousand a week, which still amazes me even today. Do not forget even if you have a working archlinux install then you can still use ArchBang for system maintenance, system recovery and of course live to try out new applications and desktops. Reminds me I need to get ArchBang on my converted Chromebook…
