Sorry I am late…..

Bit of a hectic weekend, visiting family then out with friends. Got home just in time to watch football final. Did get an iso built and uploaded but could not post on blog as site was down for maintenance. Anyway enough of my problems. This will be last Autumn version before I start working on Sorry I am late…..

Kernel Update….

Well once again I should have waited until today to build iso image. Arch has updated kernel so I am rebuilding image. Upload as soon as it is done. Like to keep image as fresh as I can. Next Friday will be last image I upload before starting on Winter release. Really hope I can Kernel Update….

New iso minor changes….

Am building this weeks iso image as I write this post. Mostly updated packages with two minor changes. Boot menu option for copytoram has been removed, if you have enough ram and root image is less than 4Gb (which it should be!) image will be loaded to ram. If you do have problems then please New iso minor changes….

Xmas has come early…..

Good news some donations to the project means I can keep ArchBang website running for another year. Am so grateful for any donations, a single dollar helps. Not only that I can remove Google Ads [yay!] from site too. Want to thank Tom and everyone who has ever donated to the project 😉 and to Xmas has come early…..

Should have waited….

Just seen kernel update, will rebuild iso image and upload it. Typical guess I should wait until Sunday morning before building image. Like to keep packages as fresh as possible and give users the best chance of having the smallest update possible post install. Right have to reboot now to get allow me to build Should have waited….

Ads are back ;-(

With support for ArchBang project at an all time low. Have decided to use google ads again. Maybe in the new year might switch blog to a free service possibly sourceforge or gitlab. This will reduce costs, as I need to save money in order to keep project alive. Can fully understand that money is Ads are back ;-(

Quick kernel update….

Noticed that Arch has updated kernel overnight, so I have updated iso and uploaded image. Enjoy the rest of your weekend…

Pacman is wonderful ;-)

Have been using Archlinux for a while now and have got so used to it, find it really hard to run anything else. Well I did install Ubuntu on my laptop for a day! Then switched back to Arch. Would never say Archlinux is perfect but it works for me and for the most part Pacman is wonderful 😉
