Have been working on Project Vole iso. It is now based on Artix Linux, systemd free (runit). Iso is very beta!!! but boots and reaches desktop. Open a terminal using Super+Return and away you go. What works? Wired connections out of the box, Wifi via connmanctl take a little time to setup. Have added a … Project Vole News Luke Smith special edition
Will start working on Winter release in upcoming weeks. Downloads are still at the highest I have ever seen over the past few years. Am hoping I can ship with Firefox once again (if I do some extra work removing the bloat). Netsurf is ok but a fully fledged browser is better for modern day … Winter release….
Just updated my system and had near 300 updates for packages, so thought it a good idea to update ArchBang again! Still getting quite a few downloads of Autumn release… Came across this the other day that: https://github.com/MatMoul/archfi interesting take on Arch installer (with language support) uses Newt libraries rather than dialog. Anyway check it … Super Massive Arch Update again!
Have just uploaded another iso image, Arch has updated its kernel yet again! Might be the last iso until Winter release. Do not seem to have much interest in ArchBang these days (got quite a bit of competition) As always feel free to email me if you have any issues or suggestions… Mr Green
I have found a small bug in Abinstall, as I have switched back to autologin via a systemd service (email@example.com) I forgot to uncomment a line in mvuser script. This may mean I get far less downloads but am looking to switch Vole … Project Vole now has its own source forge page.

Not over happy with bar but it has just enough to get you going. Getting quite a few downloads but no real feedback. Unsure if anyone actually needs … Vole just got lighter
Have managed to get Vole iso below 500mbs. It still includes uefi booting. Was thinking of switching too spectrwm, although smaller I though it was a step too far. Hope to get a new wallpaper created soon. Wired connections are automatic and wifi-menu is simply a case of running config-edit in a terminal (or sudo … Vole now below 500mbs!!!
Think I have Vole working to the point I can go ‘rc’ release. Updating iso now. Changes are minor but have removed connman, netctl does the job and wifi-menu is far easier to use. Wpa-supplicant is still present if you really stuck. Would like to get iso below 500mbs, very close but a long way … Switch Vole to RC release
Have uploaded a new iso called Vole. It is very much work in progress but does have some interesting features (well lack of!). Basically its a stripped down version of ArchBang but does not come with much if not anything other than i3 window manager, urxvt terminal and no installer. Think of it as an … Top Secret Project Vole
