I have added DWM tiling window manager to ArchBang for anyone who wishes to try it out. DWM is not in Arch repos so is included as a binary that you have to update every time you make a change to its config file [or patch it]. Seems abinstall is broken in last release, have rebuilt iso image and have uploaded gitlab version of abinstall. Have a feeling I had a bad swapfile in vim [my excuse]. Error was with mkinicpio function being missing. Should be fixed now. Thanks to Eight Ball and SL for the heads up 😉 Stay safe….
Just built and uploaded a new iso image, comes with latest packages and kernel. With removal of abserver decided that rofi really was not needed any more and have switched to dmenu. Something I had missed from the early days of building ArchBang was the setting up of a user live. Have always used /users [group] for file permissions. I have had some feedback from Erik at Arcolinux about ArchBang and some small fixes. Most are in new iso image which I am uploading now. Making ArchBang beautiful: Thunar – Open terminal here [right click] now works. yay_install has been removed, I need to rewrite it. As usual Arch has released a new kernel so I have updated iso image. Two minor changes, noticed that I had two entries in Conky for Rofi and have removed Alacritty title to default.
