Been working on getting JWM set up, some progress but also problems. JWM does things Openbox does not, it comes with a panel, dock. Its config is very like Openbox but much easier to understand. So getting an Openbox like set up is quite easy.
What does bother me is that I cannot have a dynamic menu (updates menu when an application is installed). Also when restarting JWM background vanishes (can be fixed but seems a little long winded).
If you open more than one window (say a terminal) panel stacks windows so you can soon lose track of what you are doing.
Think for now I will run with JWM in project vole, so I can test it more and try to get something more usable. Possibly even tiled!
