Looking at Openbox github page and it seems there has been no updates too Openbox for at least five years. ArchBang has been shipped with other windows manager in the past with little success and always ended up back with Openbox. ArchBang with i3 tiling window manager on iso has got very little interest so I may remove it in the near future.
Am thinking of using JWM which is openbox like in appearance but already has many options already built in. JWM includes a root menu, panel, startup support, tiling mode [via python script].
Will built test versions as Project_Vole for now until I am happy with how it looks and runs.
Not sure how users will react to this change so am sharing my thoughts here. Any comments or suggestions are welcome check contact page for details.
