Just uploaded a new iso Gparted is back. Have removed spectrwm tiling window manager, going to switch window manager in Vole (more on that in the new year). Have just uploaded a Vole iso based on Artix, using there own build scripts. It does still need work and is a little bloated at the moment. Grub needs attention and package list needs to be improved. Have been working on Project Vole iso. It is now based on Artix Linux, systemd free (runit). Iso is very beta!!! but boots and reaches desktop. Open a terminal using Super+Return and away you go. Will start working on Winter release in upcoming weeks. Downloads are still at the highest I have ever seen over the past few years. Am hoping I can ship with Firefox once again (if I do some extra work removing the bloat). Netsurf is ok but a fully fledged browser is better for modern day … Winter release….
Just updated my system and had near 300 updates for packages, so thought it a good idea to update ArchBang again! I have found a small bug in Abinstall, as I have switched back to autologin via a systemd service (getty@tty1.service.d) I forgot to uncomment a line in mvuser script. Basically you need to edit autologin.conf change ‘ablive’ to your chosen username. Will give you file path… /etc/systemd/system/getty@tty1.service.d/autologin.conf Edit as sudo… Have rebuilt iso and will … Small bug in Abinstall
