As in all things Arch, a kernel update came in over night so I have rebuilt and uploaded a new iso. Will leave yesterdays iso on source forge in case there are any issues with new one.
Have rebuilt an old laptop that belonged to my daughter, something I bought for her a few years ago. After replacing broken keyboard swapped hard drive for ssd and doubled ram. Also have plans to add a second ssd. It will become a test machine and possibly iso builder during the week when I cannot access my desktop. Installed ArchBang and after having to chroot in to rebuild initcpio seems to be working fine.
Always get confused about ESP and GPT etc… As ssd drives do not have mbrs. Maybe I should Arch wiki properly 😉
