As promised a new iso image is uploaded and includes latest kernel and package updates. Post installation you will find a script in ~/AB_Scripts called ab-pacman-keys run this in a terminal and it will create keys and update archlinux-keyring package. Once done pacman will function as it should. If there is anything you need added … New kernel, new iso ….
Arch has put latest kernel out of date so a new one is due very soon. If not available by end of tomorrow I will get an image uploaded. Made a couple of small changes. The guide no longer states changes locally will be made to target install. While this was true a few years … Well I am waiting for another kernel 😉
Archlinux has just updated kernel to 6.14-5, as promised I am now building then will upload a new iso image. No other major changes just up dated package and of course kernel. Enjoy the rest of the week, will catch up with you all on the weekend 😉 Stay safe…
Well I have again been quite busy making many more changes to ArchBang iso image. One change that I had never taken any notice of was the fact that installer does not open fullscreen. As I use i3/sway tiling window manager windows just open that way but default on an empty workspace. Thing is can … I would have never of thought of that…..

Just uploaded an updated iso image. Mostly refreshed packages. Was not happy about using a keybind to show keybinds, so have brought back an old friend Conky As I am working from scratch from a config point of view I have just created a simple keyboard shortcut menu for now. Will make changes to it … Made a small change, wonder if anyone will notice?
Am just uploading a new iso image, no real changes other than up to date packages and kernel. Sitting here thinking about using Rofi to show open windows rather than have them all in Polybar. It will show current active window which to me is enough. If you want to try it now use, Openbox … Quick iso update, including new kernel 😉
