Finally got around to testing ArchBang on my laptop and the first thing I noticed was the ugly battery icon. As I have a desktop and test iso in a virtual machine I never really see battery module. Anyway easy fix which is now included on latest iso image, uploading it now with latest kernel.
Have been a fan of dwm tiling window manager for many years but I really do not like compiling or patching stuff. On Wayland you do have dwl but the same issue applies. Had heard of and seen MangoWM but never took much noticed as I thought it was in the same vain as hyprland. Turns out MangoWM is dwl with a config file and suddenly a whole new world of window managing was open to me. It is Sway on steroids. Been running it for a couple of weeks now and am very happy with it, still not stretched it legs but my needs are less candy and more work.

Less good news donations are at an all time low and to cover costs I might have to look at adsense again, something I really do not want to do. Even if you can only spare a dollar it all helps, hosting, domains and coffee cost real money…
