Archlinux has updated kernel a few times this week. Fresh image is up. Rebuilt the ISO to include latest kernel — just keeping things current for anyone doing a new install. Existing users don’t need to do anything; a sudo pacman -Syu keeps you fully up to date as always. This one’s purely for new … ISO rebuilt with kernel 7.0.8
Finally got around to testing ArchBang on my laptop and the first thing I noticed was the ugly battery icon. As I have a desktop and test iso in a virtual machine I never really see battery module. Anyway easy fix which is now included on latest iso image, uploading it now with latest kernel. … Battery icon looks ugly lets fix it….
As with all things Arch, kernel was updated overnight so am rebuilding and uploading a fresh image. One other change that I have made is that sudo post install will require password. Older versions worked in the same way as live and not sure it is sure a good thing to do with the current … Quick update to iso to include latest kernel….
Been working over past week to get a new release ready, was waiting for Arch to put out 7.0 kernel image and finally it arrived. You will find a very fresh new summer look for iso image, quite pleased with the result and starting to get Waybar [panel] looking good. Had some positive feedback on Swaybang so have been working on getting installer running as well as adding some new features. Sbinstall now runs from terminal as a single command, no need to add sudo or flags. Keyboard layout should now be set during install.
