I know tiling window managers aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. Some of us just want to drag windows around like normal people.
If you’ve been eyeing Wayland but didn’t fancy learning keyboard shortcuts just to move a window, this might be for you.
What is it?
Waybang is ArchBang using Labwc instead of Openbox. Same minimal philosophy, same lightweight approach, just on Wayland instead of Xorg. If you’re comfortable with ArchBang, you should feel at home here.
What I’m looking for
This is a beta, so I’m after testers who can help answer a few questions:
Is Labwc a viable replacement for Openbox?
Does it feel close enough to the ArchBang experience?
What breaks? What’s annoying? What’s missing?
Labwc does have a few quirks, but nothing major so far. Your mileage may vary depending on hardware.

Beta ISO is available on SourceForge.
Give it a spin and let me know what you think.
Stay safe 😉
