ArchBang has been a passion project of mine for over a decade. It started as a way to provide a simple, lightweight Arch-based distribution with Openbox, and over the years, it has gained a dedicated following. While I’ve always seen this as a labor of love, maintaining ArchBang comes with costs—domain registration, hosting, and hardware expenses all add up.
Unlike many websites, I’ve chosen to keep my blog and the ArchBang website free of intrusive ads. I believe that a clean, distraction-free experience aligns better with the philosophy behind ArchBang itself: simplicity and efficiency. However, this means that all costs for running the project come directly out of my own pocket.
