Noticed that iso had grown with new kernel update…

Was checking new iso and noticed it had grown by over 50Mbs. At first thought it was down to new kernel/firmware. Checked package sizes and they had not really changed. Then looked in /boot directory and saw that initramfs image was 75Mbs!

As you can install ArchBang offline I had to leave kernel and microcode in /boot directory (archiso removes them as they are not needed in live arch media). Also kept initramfs in folder as it was easier (me being lazy) to leave folder contents untouched. However initramfs image is not needed if kernel is present, mkinicpio does all the work based on system you are installing on.

Am building and uploading a new iso, which is smaller in size and has 5.11.2 kernel yay! 😉
