The latest ArchBang release, codenamed Storm, brings a refreshed visual identity while staying true to what makes ArchBang tick – a lightweight, no-nonsense Arch Linux experience.

Waybar now includes battery module, something I had forgotten about as a desktop user.
Have gone ‘rc’ for this release as I do need feedback on iso just to make sure I have not missed, forgotten or need to add something. Generally I am very happy with it, even changed my own sway desktop to suit. Am still working on getting SwayBANG up and running again. About 80% of the way there, it will be more of an iso test bed rather than a full release. It will also include a modular installer framework which will all me to speed up install process as well as testing new features.
Am getting more used to using and working with Labwc. It as close to Openbox as you can get with some added features. Am trying to get that modern look to it that might appeal to the hyprland fanboys but the two window managers are of course very different.

In other news just paid for another years hosting and domain costs. Managed to cover costs with donations over past year, want to thank everyone who has supported the project and helped to keep lights on at ArchBANG HQ. Have added liberapay to donation options, it is on donations page here on this site as well as sourceforge.
