Now that I know sbinstall is working better now and have had no feedback on any issues, something crossed my mind. Why not create a single installer that works for both iso images? Well I have started to work on a new combined installer for GreenBANG and SwayBANG. Basically is simply detects which window manager is present and then runs a function to install it. I need to test it works before releasing it to the world! but am slowly getting the logic sorted [if only in my own head!]. The more modular installer becomes the easier it will be for others to create there own spins.
It will not only mean my life is easier but opens the opportunity to add other iso variants in the future.
In other news Arch has released another new kernel so will get both iso images updated soon. Seems battery/charge icon is missing in SwayBANG [Thanks J!] should be fixed for new release.
Am going to start working on a new look for iso images over next few weeks. Need to find a good background image, something Autumnal.
