Have had some feedback on adding rofi to Polybar panel. It was suggested I look at jgmenu, it is part of many of the arch based spin offs. Personally wanted to keep things simple but after messing around with jgmenu for the past week it is starting to grow on me. One of the main advantages is you are not working with xml. In Openbox a simple mistake in tags can stop Openbox working correctly. Jgmenu syntax is for the most part far easier to understand, but still can create very complex menu structures.
I have added it to Polybar panel, left click will give you jgmenu and right click will open rofi application launcher.
Will need to add more to menu but I wanted to get something out there for users to try first before maybe replacing main Openbox menu.
A quick shout out to Colin for his donation, every dollar really helps support my work as well and reduce my running costs.. Thanks again 😉
Bear with me as I am waiting to see if Arch updates kernel package over weekend, once they do I rebuild, upload iso image.
One small fix in rofi I had the wrong terminal set in config, fixed now so terminal apps should work via Shift+enter.
Stay safe 😉
