Well it had to happen Archlinux has just updated kernel to 5.18. Only saw this when I went to update my laptop this morning. So I thought I would update iso to run 5.18. This will mean a shorter update time during post install. Currently uploading new iso image as I type. No major changes … If only I had waited a day…..

If you have a large pacman update that includes archlinux-keyring package, you may find it fails to install. Remain calm it is a simple fix. In a terminal run sudo pacman -S archlinux-keyring This will update keyring first once finished then update as normal: sudo pacman -Syyu You should be good to go.
